- The objective is to prequalify companies that manufacture or market different types of goods, complying with all legal provisions and required service guarantees. UNICEF will establish long-term agreements (non-exclusive LTAs) with the companies prequalified for a period of 24 months with the possibility of an additional 12-month extension, based on satisfactory performance and by mutual agreement of the parties. This long-term agreement should set the terms and conditions for future service requirements in terms of quality, prices and delivery times of goods. These conditions and terms will be fixed for 24 months once this long-term agreement is signed. However, prices may be revised as soon as the market requires it. Contracted companies are expected to establish prices within an acceptable range of products defined by UNICEF, this range will be the cost base for future purchases or contracting and will be applied throughout the period. of the Long Term Agreement (LTA).
